As part of the
event International Year of Planet Earth, Total
Corporation organised a 3-week event with a 1500m² vinyl
satellite floor map (50x30m) featuring PlanetObserver world image at La
Défense, Paris.
For the centenary
of Louis Bleriot’s Channel crossing, the Pas-de-Calais local
council has acquired 3 satellite floor maps, featuring a satellite
image of the region London-Paris. Those 15m² floors are now
touring in schools and are being displayed in the entrance hall of the
local council.
The European Union
DG Regional Policy takes advantage of a satellite floor map featuring
the EU member states, as part of the Open Days at the European
institutions in Brussels.
