The exhibition "The Earth from space : Observations for the future" tackles today’s and tomorrow’s environmental issues from a global perspective.

Based on stunning satellite images of various places in the world, with matching scientific commentary, the exhibition takes you to a world tour that highlights the planet great diversity and the frailty of our environment.

The exhibition focuses on five major issues :

  • Water : oceans, groundwater, marine biodiversity
  • Man : megacities, demographic explosion, social distribution
  • Earth : deep Earth, geothermal science, soil, vulcanology
  • Energy : natural resources, global distribution
  • Climate change : climates, natural hazards
