Further to a partnership between PlanetObserver and IGN, the French National Geographic Institute, our satellite imagery mosaic of Europe at a resolution of 15m/pixel (down to a scale of 1 :100 000) is in the Geoportail, the French portal for geographic information. In September 2008, our world mosaic will be online !

• A new consumer product has been launched with PlanetObserver satellite imagery of Europe
An add-on with PlanetObserver images of Europe is now available in DVD for Microsoft Flight Simulator software. This product developped by the company France VFR and published by Micro Application makes it possible for all FS freaks to discover Europe in all its diversity.

• Partnership agreement signed with the Total Foundation
PlanetObserver has been selected by the Total Foundation to realize the exhibition that will take place from 19th to 23rd November 2007 at Total head office (La Défense, Paris) for the 15th anniversary of the Foundation.

• Exhibition « Adventure at the Poles » at the Palais de la découverte in Paris from 12 June 2007 to 6 January 2008
The grand opening of the exhibition « Adventure at the Poles » will take place on June 26, 2007. PlanetObserver supplies a large world floor map highlighting the poles and the itinerary of Paul-Emile Victor expeditions.
• UNESCO’s 60th anniversary special exhibition opens in Clermont-Ferrand
Large success for the exhibition
« Our Cosmic Island » set up around the Jardin Lecoq. The longest mural of the earth view from space (a 600m long tour of the Earth), together with 60 close views, has been displayed for 3 months. « Our Cosmic Island » will be displayed in London in July 2007 and in another large French city in September.

• Floor map of southern Africa from space for Cape Town Sciencentre
MTN Sciencecentre in Cape Town orders a 80 m² floor map to PlanetObserver, as a unique edutainment museographic tool. This ‘walk-on’ map is very popular with visitors, and kids may now « fly » over the country while trying to identify land and manmade features. A true ‘learning by playing’ approach of geography !

• The city of Clermont-Ferrand is the 24th local authority to acquire PlanetObserver’s unique touring exhibition
After numerous local and regional councils (Rhône-Alpes, Basse Normandie, Allier, Aude, Puy-de-Dôme, Vaucluse, Vienne, etc) and the city of Marseille, the city of Clermont-Ferrand acquires the exhibition « Discover and Protect our Planet ».
